Winter in Arizona varries from brisk cool 60's in the valleys and chilling snow and rain in the North Country.  Weather tends to bring up topics such as Global Warming and myths of catastrophic events bringing about the resurection of the Jesus.

The Arizona Skeptical Society met to discuss these topics.  Global Warming tended to be the hot (no pun intended) topic.  While there is overwhelming scientific evidence to support a dramatic increase in greenhouse gases over the past 50 years, there are some scientists who are still divided on the issue.  Our Society recommends watching Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" which clarifies many of the objections to Global Warming.
